Transportation Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Execute preliminary and detailed design for arterial roadways, highways, and freeways.
- Preparation of geometrics reviews report, environmental study report, and preliminary design report.
- Preparation of contract drawings and documents for tender and construction.
- Attend project meetings with clients, architects and consulting disciplines.
- Provide drafting support and proposal preparation support when required.
- Provide support during construction phase as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or all other equvilant training
- Hold an engineer’s licence from the Professional Engineers of Ontario
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Working knowledge of AutoCad and Microsoft Office software required.
- Practical knowledge of the MTO, TAC design procedures and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team based environmentBilingualism will be considered an asset (English/French
