Project Engineer – Industrial

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the client or project manager in the development of the project execution plan, schedule and deliverable list
• Working with the discipline leads, coordinate a multidiscipline team to deliver a on project scope, schedule, budget, quality and safety requirements
• Track progress and performance of the team and direct the team as required to ensure all requirements for the project are met
• Manage and track project changes in accordance with the projects change management plan
• Ensure all project activities are carried out in accordance with the projects Health and Safety requirements

• Eligible for membership with APEGS
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in an industrial environment
• Ability to work with a multidiscipline team
• Proven ability to deliver work according to plan and schedule in a safe and efficient manner
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities essential
• Knowledge of industrial operations such as potash, uranium, ag-processing, and oil and gas a requirement
• Sound knowledge of codes and standards
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to manage a team of professionals
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Experience as a field engineer or specific operations or maintenance experience in an operating facility will be an asset
